The Association of Union Constructors is pleased to present the 2015 TAUC Leadership Conference. Our theme for this year's conference is “Path Forward: Together We Can Achieve Greatness”.

The 2015 TAUC Leadership Conference is shaping up to be the best one yet, with outstanding keynote presentations scheduled by Joe Erhmann and Dr. Rita Murray. But we are especially excited to have the North America's Building Trades Unions' Governing Board of Presidents attending and presenting in a special panel presentation we're calling "A Gathering of Leaders" to be held on Wednesday morning, May 13th.

TAUC prides itself on having an outstanding working relationship with our partners in organized labor, and this panel presentation will be a testament to that fact! We encourage all of our union contractor members to attend this year's conference so that they may have an opportunity to network and hear first hand from the highest levels within the building trades' International Unions.

This is an incredibly unique opportunity to have this many International Union Presidents at one conference, and we hope our members and affiliates will take advantage.

As the national trade association for the union construction industry, TAUC strives to create and deliver events that capture the energy of the dynamic union construction market and offer necessary opportunities for union contractors, industrial business owners and union representatives to learn and network with fellow union construction professionals. TAUC events are a means of advancing the union construction industry's collective interests in labor relations, education, safety and health, and work opportunities.

If you've never attended a TAUC Leadership Conference before, you can expect a full roster of high-quality speakers as well as numerous networking opportunities -- gourmet meals, a gala reception and dance, to name just a few. The conference also hosts the James J. Willis Craftsperson of the Year and Thomas J. Reynolds Safety Awards presentations, two of the industry's most prestigious award programs.

The 2015 TAUC Annual Union-Made Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, May 14th. The golf tournament has been designed to allow participants to enjoy the day while displaying their varied golfing skills. All Ladies and Gentlemen registered for TAUC's Leadership Conference are eligible to enter the tournament and compete for prizes. TAUC's Golf Committee has elected to play a scramble format.

1. The entry for the 2015 TAUC Union-Made Golf Tournament is $100.00 per person, which includes green fees, cart fees, refreshments and a boxed lunch.

2. The Golf Committee will assign all foursomes. Since we will be allowed a "shotgun" start at 12:45pm SHARP, it is extremely important that all participants be at the course no later than 30 minutes prior to tee-off. Players need to check in at the Pro Shop to locate their assigned foursomes.

3. Transportation will be provided for all golfers to and from the RiverTowne Country Club located at 1700 RiverTowne Country Club Drive in Mount Pleasant, SC 29466. The telephone number is (843) 849-2400. Click on this link to view the RiverTowne golf course http://www.rivertownecountryclub.com/.

4. Prizes will be awarded to members of the winning foursome, 1st and 2nd runner-up foursomes and most honest foursome. In the event of a tie, scorecards will be compared as in match play, starting with a randomly selected hole. Individual prizes will also be awarded for various skills competitions.

5. Rental clubs are available at $25.00 plus tax, and MUST BE RESERVED 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE of the golf outing. Golfers are responsible for their own rental club payments as well as cigars and golf shop merchandise.

Who Should Attend:

TAUC Leadership Conference 2015 is open to anyone with a vested interest in the enhancement and advancement of union construction.

Specifically, TAUC Leadership Conference 2015 is designed to be a premiere networking event for industrial business owners, union contractors and labor representatives.

Meeting Attire:

Attire for TAUC Leadership Conference 2015 is resort casual for all meetings and social events, EXCEPT for the Gala Reception, Dinner and Dance.

The Gala is sport coat and dress slacks or suit for the gentlemen, and dresses or suits for the ladies.

The average high temperature during May in Charleston, South Carolina is 78.0°F with an average low of 66.0°F, so please bring the appropriate clothing for outside evening activities.

Cancellation and Other Policies:

Registration may be cancelled, and your registration fee refunded in full, if written cancellation is received in The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) office on or before April 10, 2015. If cancelled after this date you will forfeit your registration fee or as an alternative option you are welcome to send a substitute or replacement.

Head west toward Air Park Road. Take a slight left onto Terminal Blvd. and continue onto International Blvd. for two miles. Then turn left onto W. Montague Avenue. In less than a mile turn right onto I-26E toward Charleston and continue for 7 miles. Then take exit 221B on the left for Meeting Street, toward the Visitor Center. Turn right onto Meeting Street and continue for 1.3 miles. Belmond Charleston Place hotel will be on your right. Guest parking can be accessed on Meeting Street; the entranceway is located on the right just before the hotel.
