General President Walter Wise has invited The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) to attend the Spring Meeting of the Iron Workers' General Executive Council. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 8, 2013 through Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, 11111 North 7th Street in Phoenix, AZ 85020. TAUC's representatives are scheduled to appear before the General Executive Council on Thursday morning, April 11, 2013. The purpose of the visit with the General Executive Council (GEC) is to provide a means of jointly discussing common concerns affecting our industry. It is also an occasion to explore and exchange ideas on how we can mutually provide work opportunities for the memberships of both the Iron Workers International and our Association.

President Tom Felton is requesting TAUC's Board of Directors to attend this meeting in order for these discussions to continue to be productive.

Thursday, April 11, 2013
7:00 AM – 8:00 AM TAUC Representatives Breakfast Meeting
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM TAUC’s Appearance Before the General Executive Council

TAUC representatives will meet for lunch on April 10th and for breakfast on April 11th prior to the meeting with the Iron Workers' General Executive Council.

The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) and the Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust (IMPACT) will host a cookout for all General Executive Council members and their guests on Tuesday evening, April 9, 2013. The event will be held at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. In addition, General President Wise will host a dinner for all attendees and their guests on Wednesday evening, April 10, 2013.

The deadline for online meeting registration is Monday, March 18, 2013.
