The Association of Union Constructors is pleased to present TAUC Leadership Conference 2012.

As the national trade association for the union construction industry, TAUC strives to create and deliver events that capture the energy of the dynamic union construction market and offer necessary opportunities for union contractors, industrial business owners and union representatives to learn and network with fellow union construction professionals. TAUC events are a means of advancing the union construction industry's collective interests in labor relations, education, safety and health, and work opportunities.

Registration fees include all scheduled business functions for you, your companion and registered children.

A name badge will be issued to all paid registrants and will be your admittance to all business functions.

Only members in good standing will be eligible for discounted member rates when registering for TAUC Leadership Conference 2012.

TAUC membership fees are due by January 31, 2012.

Who Should Attend:

TAUC Leadership Conference 2012 is open to anyone with a vested interest in the enhancement and advancement of union construction.

Specifically, TAUC Leadership Conference 2012 is designed to be a premiere networking event for industrial business owners, union contractors and labor representatives.

Meeting Attire:

Attire for TAUC Leadership Conference 2012 is resort casual for all meetings and social events, EXCEPT for the Gala Reception, Dinner and Dance.

The Gala is sport coat and dress slacks or suit for the gentlemen, and dresses or suits for the ladies.

The average high temperature during May in Hilton Head Island is 82.5°F with an average low of 62.0°F, so please bring the appropriate clothing for outside evening activities.

Cancellation and Other Policies:

Registration may be cancelled, and your registration fee refunded in full, if written cancellation is received in The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) office on or before April 11, 2012. If cancelled after this date you will forfeit your registration fee or as an alternative option you are welcome to send a substitute or replacement.

THE CUT-OFF DATE IS FRIDAY, APRIL 13, 2012 FOR ALL HOTEL RESERVATIONS AT THE WESTIN HILTON HEAD ISLAND RESORT AND SPA.

RESORT FEE:
$16 per room per night, plus 9% state and local taxes is added to each account for service and amenities. This includes shuttle to Port Royal Golf, Tennis and Shelter Cove Mall and Marina, 24 hour Westin Workout, Overnight Self-Parking, Unsecured Wireless internet access in lobby and guest rooms, access and use of Westin Business Center, and Local and Toll Free call access.

Bellmen, doormen, and others who render intermittent personal services are not included in the resort fee.

SMOKE FREE POLICY: All Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa guest rooms and indoor facilities are non-smoking. Hotel will charge a $200 cleaning fee to the account of any guests who smoke in their guest room.

EARLY DEPARTURE FEE: An early departure fee of one night's room and tax will apply if guest checks out prior to the confirmed checkout date. To avoid this fee guests must advise the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa at or before check-in of any change in their scheduled length of stay.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Must notify the hotel five (5) days prior to arrival for a refund; less than five (5) days, deposit forfeited.

DEPOSIT POLICY: Rooms will be available only to those requests secured by $179 deposit per room. Your deposit is applicable to the fulfillment of your length of stay. When requesting reservations, please note arrival and departure carefully. Late arrival or early departure causes forfeiture of deposit, unless cancellation or changes are made 5 days in advance of scheduled arrival dates.

From the South
* Take Interstate 95 North to South Carolina.

* Take Airways Avenue and follow the signs to Interstate 95 North.
