The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) and the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee, Inc. (NMAPC) is hosting it's 2011 Annual Holiday Open House at The Washington Court Hotel, 525 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20001. The Holiday Open House will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Atrium Ballroom located on the upper lobby level of The Washington Court Hotel. This event is open to all TAUC-NMAPC members and special invited guests. Invitations will be sent in the very near future.

In addition The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) State of the Union Construction Industry 2011 will be held in conjunction with the Holiday Open House. This event will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. at The Washington Court Hotel, 525 New Jersey Avenue, NW in Washington, DC 20001. This prestigious event brings together some of the construction industry's most visionary leaders with the common goal of expanding businesses by using the safest and most productive workforce available. For those of you who require sleeping accommodations, TAUC has reserved a block of rooms at a rate of $239.00 per night, plus tax for single or double occupancy at The Washington Court Hotel. To reserve a sleeping room at this special rate please contact The Washington Court Hotel Reservation Department at (202) 628-2100 and reference TAUC's room block. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is Friday, November 4, 2011. Rooms are limited so we urge you to reserve your sleeping room at your earliest convenience.

All sleeping room requests must be made and/or cancelled through The Washington Court Hotel (202-628-2100). Cancellations must be made 72 hour prior to arrival date. All "No Shows" will be billed for one night's room and tax.

The hotel may be reached by taking the Yellow Metro line then change at Metro Center station onto the Red Metro line in the direction of Union Station. From the Red Metro line exit at Union Station Metro stop. The hotel is a short walk from the Metro station. The cab ride is approximately $15.00.

Those members who are flying in for meetings in the Washington, D.C. area may want to consider flying into Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI). Fares are sometimes significantly lower depending on the airline and where you depart from. From BWI, you can take a train to Union Station in Washington, DC, and the hotel is a short walk from the Metro station. The train trip is approximately 25 minutes long. You may also rent a car, take a cab, or shuttle bus. A cab ride from BWI is approximately $60.00. Shuttle bus service prices vary.
