Iron Workers' General Executive Council Spring Meeting 2011

General President Joseph Hunt has invited The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) to attend the Spring Meeting of the Iron Workers' General Executive Council. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 7, 2011 through Friday, February 11, 2011 at the Riviera Palm Springs in Palm Springs, CA. TAUC representatives are scheduled to appear before the Executive Council on Wednesday morning, February 9, 2011. The purpose of the visit with the Executive Council is to provide a means of jointly discussing common concerns affecting our industry. It is also an occasion to explore and exchange ideas on how we can mutually provide work opportunities for the memberships of both the Iron Workers International and our Association.

President Robert Santillo is requesting your attendance at this meeting in order for these discussions to continue to be productive. In addition a breakfast meeting is scheduled for Wednesday morning, February 9, 2011 at 7:00 AM with all TAUC representatives prior to the meeting with the Iron Workers.

The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) and I.M.P.A.C.T. will host a cookout for all Executive Council members and their guests on Tuesday evening, February 8, 2011. The event is scheduled from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Riviera Palm Springs. In addition, General President Hunt will host a dinner for all attendees on Wednesday evening, February 9, 2011.

The Iron Workers' have reserved a block of rooms at the Riviera Palm Springs for arrival on Sunday, February 6, 2011 and departure on Friday, February 11, 2011.
