The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) State of the Union Construction Industry 2010 will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at The Washington Court Hotel, 525 New Jersey Avenue, NW in Washington, DC 20001.

This prestigious event brings together some of the construction industry's most visionary leaders with the common goal of expanding businesses by using the safest and most productive workforce available.

The agenda for TAUC’s State of the Union Construction Industry Meeting taking place on Wednesday, December 8th will cover a variety of topics of interest to union contractors.

Some of the topics include:

• An update on the two Financial Accounting Standards Board’s (FASB) Exposure Drafts and how these could impact union contractors and their participation in multiemployer pension plans

• An update on the new Cranes and Derricks Standard and how the industry is dealing with the new requirements

• An update on the initiatives being taken by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

• And much more

In addition the 2010 Annual TAUC-NMAPC Holiday Open House will be held on Tuesday evening, December 7, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Atrium Ballroom located on the upper lobby level of The Washington Court Hotel. This event is open to all TAUC-NMAPC members and invited guests.
