Iron Workers' General Executive Council Spring Meeting 2010

General President Joseph Hunt has invited The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) to attend the Spring Meeting of the Iron Workers' General Executive Council. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 22, 2010 through Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. TAUC representatives are scheduled to appear before the Executive Council on Wednesday morning, March 24, 2010. The purpose of the visit with the Executive Council is to provide a means of jointly discussing common concerns affecting our industry. It is also an occasion to explore and exchange ideas on how we can mutually provide work opportunities for the memberships of both the Iron Workers International and our Association.

President Robert Santillo is requesting your attendance at this meeting in order for these discussions to continue to be productive. In addition a breakfast meeting is scheduled for Wednesday morning, March 24, 2010 at 7:30 AM with all TAUC representatives prior to the meeting with the Iron Workers.

The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) and I.M.P.A.C.T. will host a cookout for all Executive Council members and their guests on Tuesday evening, March 23, 2010. The event is scheduled from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch. In addition, General President Hunt will host a dinner for all attendees on Wednesday evening, March 24, 2010.

The Iron Workers' have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch for arrival on Sunday, March 21, 2010 and departure on Friday, March 26, 2010. The sleeping room rate is $265 per night, plus tax. PLEASE CONTACT THE HOTEL DIRECT AT (480) 444-1234 AND REFERENCE THE IRON WORKERS' ROOM BLOCK TO RESERVE YOUR SLEEPING ROOM. The cut-off date for all sleeping rooms is February 19, 2010.

The deadline for online meeting registration is Friday, March 12, 2010.
