NMAPC Zero Injury Safety Awards Dinner

The National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee is pleased to present the 8th annual Zero Injury Safety Awards, the most prestigious safety award program in the construction industry.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at the National Building Museum, located at 401 F Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001. A cocktail reception will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and dinner will begin at 7:30 p.m.

We will honor more than 20 million work-hours performed injury-free on industrial construction projects covered by national maintenance agreements. This is the highest number of hours ever - more than double the number in 2006 - and represents a significant shift away from "the old days" when injuries were an accepted reality on construction sites.

Hotel cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to date of arrival to avoid one night room and tax charge. All no-shows will be billed for one night's room and tax. From the Hyatt Arlington go to the Rosslyn Metro Station and take the Blue Line to Metro Center and take the Red Line to Judiciary Square. Exit station using F Street exit, walk approximately 1 block West on F Street, N.W., to the National Building Museum. Metro fare is approximately $2.00 one way.
