The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) has scheduled an open forum for contractors, Building Trades representatives, and owners who use union construction services entitled Michigan Drives Union Construction. This event will be held at The Atheneum Hotel, 1000 Brush Ave., Detroit, MI on July 9, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This meeting is designed to help educate those in the construction industry on various safety and health and labor issues we face everyday.

In addition TAUC has reserved baseball tickets for Tuesday evening, July 8, 2008 to see the Cleveland Indians play the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. If you are interested in attending the baseball game please complete the online registration form. The cost is $50.00 per person to include food and beverage. Seats are limited therefore we urge you to register immediately if you plan to attend this event.

If you need hotel accommodations, please contact the Reservation Department at the Atheneum Hotel at 1-800-772-2323 to reserve a sleeping room under TAUC room block in order to receive the special room rate of $169.00 per night for single or double occupancy. The cut-off date for all sleeping rooms is June 16, 2008.
