Iron Workers’ General Executive Council Spring Meeting 2019

General President Eric Dean has invited The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) to attend the Spring Meeting of the Iron Workers’ General Executive Council. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Arizona Biltmore, 2400 East Missouri Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85016. TAUC is scheduled to appear before the Executive Council on Wednesday morning, March 20th. The purpose of this visit with the Executive Council is to provide a means of jointly discussing common concerns in our industry. It's an occasion to explore and exchange ideas on how we can mutually provide work opportunities for the memberships of both the Iron Workers International and our Association.

President Jake Locklear is requesting TAUC's Board of Directors to attend this meeting in order for these discussions to continue to be productive. TAUC's schedule is as follows:

The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) and the Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust (IMPACT) will host a dinner for all General Executive Council members and their guests on Tuesday evening, March 19, 2019. The event will be held from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. In addition, General President Dean will host a dinner for all attendees on Wednesday evening, March 20th.

General Hotel Information:

TAUC has set aside a block of guestrooms at the Arizona Biltmore for arrival on Monday, March 18, 2019 and departure on Friday, March 22, 2019. Guestrooms will be reserved through TAUC, please indicate your arrival and departure dates when completing online registration. The cut-off date for sleeping rooms is by 3:00 PM Central Time on Tuesday, February 26th. Guestrooms are limited!
