Iron Workers' General Executive Council Spring Meeting 2018

General President Eric M. Dean has invited The Association of Union Constructors to attend the Spring Meeting of the Iron Workers' General Executive Council. The meeting is scheduled for March 19, 2018 through March 23, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. TAUC representatives are scheduled to appear before the Executive Council on Wednesday morning, March 21, 2018. The purpose of the visit with the Executive Council is to provide a means of jointly discussing common concerns affecting our industry. It is also an occasion to explore and exchange ideas on how we can mutually provide work opportunities for the memberships of both the Iron Workers International and The Association of Union Constructors.

President Jake Locklear is requesting TAUC's Board of Directors to attend this meeting in order for these discussions to continue to be productive.

The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) and the Ironworker Management Progressive Action Cooperative Trust (IMPACT) will host a dinner for all General Executive Council members and their guests on Tuesday evening, March 20, 2018.

The Iron Workers' have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch for arrival on Sunday, March 18, 2018 and departure on Friday, March 23, 2018. The sleeping room rate is $319 per night, plus tax. The resort fee is $29 per day, Valet parking $31 per day, and Self-Parking is $21 per day.
