STATE OF THE UNION CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY FORUM: The State of the Union Construction (STUC) Industry Forum 2017 will be held on Thursday, December 14th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This prestigious event brings together some of the construction industry's most visionary leaders with the common goal of expanding businesses by using the safest and most productive workforce available. The annual half-day forum is one of the union construction industry's "must-attend" events -- an important opportunity to network with owners, contractors and labor leaders and get a jump on the year ahead.

TAUC MEMBERS MEET WITH THEIR CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES: The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) will be setting up Capitol Hill Congressional Appointments for TAUC members who are interested in meeting with their respective elected officials on Thursday afternoon, December 14th from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This is a fantastic opportunity for TAUC members to meet lawmakers (or their staff) face-to-face and to let them know how their decisions affect your business, employees and local community. This year, the key issues we will focus on during these meetings will be the value of the signatory contractor community and the economic impact of the industrial maintenance sector in the construction industry, along with a strong focus on the needed passage of composite plan legislation. This unique opportunity allows you, as a construction and maintenance industry professional, to create connections with policymakers that will not only advance our industry, but your own organization as well. Open to TAUC Governing, Regular, LEO or Affiliate Members who are passionate about the issues impacting our industry and who want to make a difference, as well as meet and network with fellow advocates from across the country.

As always The Association of Union Constructors' (TAUC) events are a key benefit of your membership. This is a great opportunity to network and share ideas and information with other leaders from around the country.
