	TAUC Safety and Health Committee Meeting Members of TAUC's Safety and Health Committee will meet to discuss the current safety and health related issues affecting the construction industry while developing related policies for the association.

You might want to bring your credit cards as well! Timing: Depart the hotel at 9:00 am and return at approximately 12:00 pm.

01:00 pm - 05:00 pm	Guest Program: Everglades Safari Tour - (Alternate to Golf) Nowhere else in the world will you find a wonder of nature like the Everglades. This unique ecosystem, a vast green expanse of grass, water and palm islands provides habitat and protection for nearly 300 varieties of birds, 600 kinds of fish and countless mammals. Scientists agree that there is nothing quite like this "River of Grass" anywhere else in the world. Guests participating in this adventure will experience the delicate and fragile balance of this national treasure first-hand during a 30-minute airboat ride deep into the glades through the sawgrass at speeds of 40 miles per hour. Your driver/guide will make various stops to explain the sights, sounds, and history of this unique area. Gator sightings are just about guaranteed! Following the airboat ride, participants will walk through the winding jungle trail, an elevated walking trail and nature observation platform. Participants will conclude the visit with the opportunity to see some of the unique and endangered animals that call Florida home. Exhibits of birds of prey (such as hawks, owls and vultures), reptiles (such as alligators, crocodiles, snakes and turtles) and exotic mammals (such as the Florida panther) are included.
